THREE work colleagues are nervously preparing for a sky-dive from 10,000ft to raise cash for cancer care.
Nina Breckell, 21, of Whalley Road, Sabden, Gill Lomax, 27, of Brownhill Road, Blackburn, Rob Heys, 21, of Devonshire Street, Accrington, will strap on their parachutes near Lancaster next month to raise funds for the MacMillan Nurses Appeal.
Personal assistant Nina, lab technician Rob and administration manager Gill will each have an instructor strapped to them as they sky-dive from 10,000ft before opening their parachutes at 2,000ft.
Nina said: "None of us has done anything like this before.
"We are all a bit nervous about it, and I'm sure we'll get worse as the big day gets closer.
"We might even need a push to get out of the plane!"
Nina organised the stunt after a family friend, who is a MacMillan nurse, suggested the fundraiser.
