ASIANS in East Lancashire were warned to guard against a new threat of racial hatred from the National Front.

The alert was made by Hyndburn racial equality go-between Coun Bill Goldsmith, who claimed the right-wing group were preparing to stir up trouble in Accrington. Mr Goldsmith was also concerned about the attitude of police towards the ethnic minorities.
