WITH all the worries about recent food scares and our concern to give our families a good balanced diet, many people are turning to organic food. But, not everyone can afford it.
However, it is possible to grow your own organic fruit and vegetables quite easily. You don't need a lot of space or money to produce lovely, tasty meals fresh from the garden.
Anyone who wants to know more, particularly beginner gardeners, can send a large SAE for free help from The Henry Doubleday Research Association, a registered charity, as part of its 'Grow Your Own Fruit and Vegetable Campaign.'
