DAILY, I expect to see film of Tony Blair walking on water. If you listen to most of our fawning media, you'd almost think he could.
Unfortunately, this lack of critical review means that few of them look behind the successful-looking headlines or examine what lies beyond the dramatic sound bites.
We all welcomed, for example, the good news of the signing of the Irish Good Friday agreement and acknowledge the part played by Tony Blair and, before him, John Major. How are things going now?
During the referendum campaign, Tony Blair gave firm assurances that the terrorists would have to give up their weapons before they could sit on Ulster's new governing body.
Meanwhile, IRA mouthpiece Gerry Adams has made it clear that he's not interested in the issue of decommissioning of weapons.
What do you believe will happen?
