SARAH WOOD struck double gold at the Central Lancs Age Group Gala. The 11-year-old from Tyldesley Swimming Club swam a PB in the 100 backstroke heats before winning her first gold - and then doubled up in the 50 butterfly.
In both events Tyldesley had a 1-2 with silvers from Michelle Greensmith in the backstroke and Samantha Thompson (PB) in the butterfly.
Samantha also finished as reserve in the backstroke.
Not to be outdone by her younger sister, Stephanie Thompson swam a PB in the heats of the 13-Year 50 breaststroke before taking silver in the final.
Stephen Riley was reserve in his event.
Other PBs went to Samantha Greensmith in the 100 freestyle and Laura Murphy, reserve in the 10-Year 50 breaststroke.
