MOVE over David Seaman - one goalkeeper with his work cut out this weekend is ex-Blackpool star Dave Bamber who is set to face a big penalty challenge.

As World Cup fever sweeps the nation, the Seasiders' former striker will don his kit once more - but this time he's in goal!

Dave is putting his sporting reputation on the penalty spot this Father's Day in a bid to raise cash at the Marton County Primary School summer fair.

On the eve of England's next big international game, he will sport the team's colours and tackle one of the toughest assignments of his career!

Proceeds will go to school funds as youngsters as young as four put their striking skills to the test against someone better used to scoring goals than saving them.

He said: "I am looking forward to it - and it will be a nice change to see how the goalie feels!"

The event starts at 1.30pm on Sunday (June 21) at the school on Whernside Road, off Highfield Road, Blackpool.

Other attractions include a bouncy castle, tombola and numerous stalls.
