DAREDEVIL Charlotte Gildart is looking to the stormy skies - all set to leap from them!
The dark-haired model has been training for her first parachute jump.
But, at her first attempt, the winter-like weather left her stranded 3,000 feet up.
"I was so deflated," said the 23-year-old ex-St Mary's RC High student. "I was nervous as we boarded the plane, a little faint as the time approached for the jump.
"Then we were told the weather had closed in and we would have to go down. Now I'm more determined than ever to do the jump."
The jump, including a day's training near Cartmel in the South Lakes, was a birthday gift.
And Charlotte, joint manageress at the Fernroyd House beauty emporium on The Avenue at Leigh, is dedicating her adventurous stunt to raising some £400 for Cancer Research.
On terra firma, and away from work, she enjoys modelling.
Next? "I'd love to have a go at free-falling," said free-spirited Charlotte.
