A PIONEERING cancer research unit at Lancaster University has been awarded a £102,000 grant from the Wolfson Foundation.
The money will help refurbish the laboratory and will include improved ventilation and lighting and a special tissue culture cabinet.
The research is supported by North West Cancer Research Fund, Lancaster and Morecambe Foundation for Medical Research and the Department of Health.
