AFTER reading Bob Brown's letter about being bullied, I feel that it is imperative that bullying is debated through the media and in Government to prevent an increasing problem in local schools.
Bullying can cause serious problems psychologically for the victim for a long time after school.
It's up to Government bodies and head teachers to set up policies to tackle the persistent bully. If a bully is not detected at school, which has obviously been the case in recent years (I refer to the rise in violent crime locally) then they become bullies in society and add to the crime statistics.
