CONGRATULATIONS on incorporating photographs into the Lancaster Citizen's excellent website. Although they take a little longer to download, they are well worth the wait.
I e-mailed you for the first time from Texas, when I first found your website. Well now, we're in the Republic of Panama, and will be 'turning out the last light' on the Panama Canal when the American Forces leave in December 1999, and still appreciate hearing news from Lancaster. My parents, Derek and Margaret Sykes at the Handbag Centre in Sir Simons Arcade in Lancaster told me that quite a few of my old friends had stopped by after reading my e-mail in the Lancaster Citizen.
Since I haven't made it back to Lancaster since leaving Germany three years ago, it's great to hear from friends there.
Again, thanks for the photographs and look forward to seeing more.
