INVESTIGATIONS were under way after more than a100 children were evacuated from a school as a build-up of methane gas prompted fears of an explosion.
Youngsters were hurriedly sent home from St Hubert's Primary School, Hallfield Road, Great Harwood, after staff noticed the strong smelling gas.
