LYNX moved back to the top of the league and also to the top of the Red Rose Trophy with a nine try demolition of Workington.
Workington took an early lead in the second minute, with a drop goal from Steve Maguire
Workington edged themselves further ahead with a drop goal from Graeme Close in the 16th minute but straight from the kick off Lynx finally put a decent move together when Jayson Pekepo and Steve Byrne combined to send in Steve Ashcroft to touch down, Phil Jones adding the conversion.
Things got better for Lynx four minutes later when a cross field kick was picked up by Steve Byrne to touch down.
Lee Priest was then on hand to collect a John Donno pass to go over in the 28th minute, Paul Jones again adding the conversion.
Lynx were now totally in control and two further tries from Neil Parsley in the 32nd minute and Steve Byrne three minutes later, both converted by Paul Jones, gave Lynx a 28-8 half time advantage.
Lynx continued to look the better side in the second half and went further ahead in the 47th minute when Jayson Pekepo broke through some weak tackling to touch down. Three further tries from Damien Abram in the 61st minute, Phil Jones in the 68th ,minute and John Donno in the 74th minutes with one further conversion fronm Phil Jones ensured that Lynx ran out easy winners.
