MPS ARE kicking up about the behaviour of some of our England supporters in France, but I am surprised there are not more showing disrespect for law and order and the rights of innocent people.

What do they expect? Don't they realise those people come from a country where the Government is introducing legislation to let murderers free, knowing full well that if the Northern Ireland peace process does not go their way, there is a distinct possibility they could go back to their old ways?

This same country grovels to get two convicted killers freed - who, when released, come home and sell their stories to the tabloids. We have a convicted child killer come home first-class with the airline subsidising the fare.

There are paedophiles who killed their victims getting light sentences. Then, to make it a mockery, they get out early.

Then, we have a religious pervert who, when convicted and sentenced, has his own religious order finance an appeal to get his sentence cut.

These are just a few examples of the English attitude to crime and punishment, so I would not be surprised in the slightest if these idiots in France are wondering what all the fuss is about.
