"MANIC Stressed Teachers" are counting down to a rock night at Mount Carmel RC High School in Accrington.
The five-strong band, all members of staff, will be performing a gig on Friday at 8pm in aid of school funds.
They are science technician Eileen Flanagan on vocals, English teacher Declan Sanderson on drums, and PE instructor Simon Anderton on guitar.
Physics teacher Mike Cunningham will be playing rhythm guitar and saxophone, while maths teacher Neil Jones, who left the school recently, will be on bass guitar.
The staff will be the support band for local semi-professional band Cheating Hearts and vocalist Tommy Franks, from Oswaldtwistle.
The fund-raiser has been organised by art teacher Marie Alveston whose husband, Ian, is lead guitarist with Cheating Hearts.
Tickets costing £4 are on sale from the school on 01254 233458, or people can pay on the door.
There will be a bar on the night, plus a bottle tombola.
A similar event last year raised around £1,000 for school funds.
