FUND-RAISERS hope to pull in the pesetas and find some francs from summer holidaymakers.
Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle, which runs Pendleside Hospice, Reedley, wants postcards and leftover foreign coins which can be converted into funds to help the group's finances.
Organisers are hoping to "coin it in" by selling the items via the Internet.
People returning from their summer breaks can drop unwanted coins and postcards into any of Hospice Care's six shops in Burnley and Pendle or into the hospice itself.
Hospice appeals manager Mark Sandamas explained: "Although they are worthless at face value, items like old postcards and coins are wanted by people around the world via the Internet."
