HORSERIDERS and walkers are putting themselves on the line.
They'll take part in Saturday's protest walk along the proposed Leigh Busway route from Leigh through Tyldesley towards Ellenbrook.
The Green Party organised demo assembles at noon at Leigh Library and will follow the old railway route.
Greens say the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive busway proposals are aimed at strengthening the Xanadu project.
Leigh Greens' Chris Maile said:"GMPTE have got this wrong. It is time they admitted it and got on with the job of drawing up a real and positive public transport plan for this section of Greater Manchester."
