A SWIMMING pool, a beach, a large shopping complex or a 100 thousand all seater sports stadium maybe?
We all have a dream of what we'd like to have in our town but for the school children of Brookfield County Primary it's more than that.
Over the past three weeks over 200 pupils have been building a large model of what they'd like to see in Brookfield.
The giant model, 10ft long and 7ft wide, has every house, public building, green area and shop on it after pupils put their creative skills to the test.
School secretary Betty Bell, said: "All the children have worked really hard and the amount of time spent on it has amazed me."
She also added that from the painting to the final tree being planted on to it the children have been involved all the way.
The model will be completed this week and then residents can and pin their ideas for a better Brookfield on it.
Lancashire Global Education Centre, Brookfield United Forum and Preston Borough Council asked the school to build the model to be used at 10 different meetings.
John Murray, of the education centre, said: "The lack of facilities in Brookfield has worried us for sometime."
One nine-year-old at the school said: "We need somewhere to play football because my mum won't let me play on the park because its too dangerous."
A meeting at the school on July 7 will give parents a chance to see the model.
