I HOPE readers may be able to help me trace my family tree.
My great grandparents on my father's side were John and Catherine (nee Power) Cosgrove, who lived in Blackburn at a number of addresses - 50 Smithies Street, 16 Dugdale Street and William Henry Street.
I think they married about 1896, but I cannot find a record of this.
They had three sons, Edward, John, Matthew, and three daughters, Mary, Sarah and Agnes.
They came from Ireland but were married in England. The question is: where and when?
My great grandparents on my mother's side are called Michael and Bridget Mellody.
They had three children - James, Mary and Bridget and lived at Pickup Street and 53 Cleaver Street. I think they would have married about 1897, but when and where?
