SOME 500 primary school children took part in the Littlewoods Merseyside Mini Games held at Kirkby Sports Centre with each of the five competing boroughs gaining a first place in at least one of the six tournaments contested.
The St Helens team continued their domination of 'New Image' Rugby, a mini form of Rugby Union where boys compete alongside girls, winning all four games.
