COMMUNITY youth teams from Billinge, Garswood, Fingerpost, Newton and Eccleston will be battling it out on Saturday, July 11, in an 'It's A Knockout' competition.
The event is jointly organised by St Helens Council's Youth Services Department, the police, local parish councils and ward councillors and has proved to be extremely popular in years gone-by.
Between 90 and 100 young people will take part in the competition at Nugent House School, Billinge between 1 and 5pm. And the youngsters will be given tips for some of the games by members from Saints Academy team.
The event is funded by the police and local youth liaison and community bobbies will be taking part. Sponsorship has come from Fords at Halewood and T-Shirts have been provided by T. J. Morris Ltd. (who have Home and Bargain stores throughout Merseyside).
