CHARITY champ Michelle Lewis has been raising money for good causes since the age of eight. Now the Cowley High pupil is celebrating yet another landmark in her amazing achievements.
Michelle, who comes from Rainhill, has presented the MacMillan Nurse Appeal Fund with a £13,357.50 cheque to help fund a Macmillan Nurse at Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
The cheque means Michelle, who suffers from the crippling disease arthrogryphosis (which stunts the growth of muscles and tendons) has now personally raised a massive £400,000 and is looking forward to surpassing her half-a-million target.
Michelle, who is just 15, raised the £13,000 through what has now become an annual event, her 'Michelle and Friends Show' at the Empire in Liverpool.
