LEIGH Golf Club's Andrew Baguley and John Wallis are on course for a trip of a lifetime.
Pro Andrew and 13-handicapper John are through to the regional finals of Europe's biggest pro-am competition, the Lombard Trophy.
And, if they win a better-ball medal play at Hesketh Golf Club, they will be off for a September trip to San Lorenzo in Portugal, where they will be joined by 15 other regional winners.
Sales manager John teamed up with Leigh's pro of nine years after winning the club qualifying tournament.
Part of his prize for winning the club competition is a special Lombard plaque and a Glenmuir golf shirt and slipover.
