LANCASHIRE Lynx face possibly their biggest ever game this Sunday when they entertain Barrow Border Raiders in the final game of the Red Rose Trophy, kick off 3pm.
The game will be played at Preston Grasshoppers after more problems with the pitch at Deepdale after last weekends game.
Progress to the final will depend not only on the result of this game but also the outcome of Oldham's home fixture with Workington.
Lynx currently have a 13 points advantage over Oldham and only an emphatic victory is sure to see them into the final on July 19.
Lynx had a comfortable 48-12 victory over Workington last Sunday, but captain Andy Ruane, Steve Gee and Lee Prest face fitness tests before the game.
Steve Taylor will be missing for at least a month with knee ligament damage, while Danny Jones has joined Widnes on a month's loan.
Lee Westwood has returned from a similar deal at Leigh while record try scorer Ray Waring may figure in the squad for the first time since the opening game of the season.
Barrow will come full of confidence after defeating Oldham last Sunday despite having Stuart Quayle sent off on the half hour. The teams have met twice already this season with Lynx winning at Craven Park last month. Players Lynx will have to watch will be scrum half Dean Marwood and centre Paul Burns.
Lynx will select from: Murray, Byrne, Ashcroft, Abram, Parsley, Jones, Kelly, Prest, Donno, Pekepo, Gee, Solomos, Ruane, Briscoe, Mawdsley, Walsh, Norton, Campbell, Fairhurst, Westwood, Waring.
