AN Atherton church will blossom with a flower weekend later this month.
The event is at Bag Lane Methodist Church and runs from July 25 to 31.
Anyone wishing to donate blooms in memory of loved ones is asked to drop them off at the church after 7pm on July 24.
Weekend celebrations include a Saturday afternoon tea and organ recital by Kenneth Kenyon, with Simon Pendlebury on guitar, starting at 2pm.
On Sunday services are at 10.45am with Miss Kathleen Hilton, and 2.30pm with the Rev Steven Levitt.
The church will be open all week from 10am to 3pm for people to see the flowers.
