GOLBORNE Under 15s bowling and fielding proved too much for Adlington who were all out for 15, top scorer A Holdsworth on 5.
Three Golborne bowlers shared the wickets: Dale Tyrer - 4 wickets, five runs, 1 maiden and 4 overs; Manesh Myangor 3 wickets in his only over and Paul Waterworth, Golborne's captain who took two wickets for eight runs in his four overs.
In reply Golborne's openers, James Byrne and Greg Evans knocked off the runs in three overs.
Golborne congratulates Steven Mullaney, who in his match for Lancashire U11s against Staffordshire took 4 wickets for 9 runs in 5 overs, three maidens, and Andrew Betterley who was 12th man for Lancashire in their recent match against Worcestershire at Lytham.
