BUSWAY proposals will be discussed again at a public meeting in Ellenbrook.

Worsley Civic Trust has called the meeting for 8pm on Monday at Ellenbrook school, Longwall Avenue, off Newearth Road. Experts from Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive have accepted the Trust's invitation which has also gone out to Salford City and Wigan Borough councillors.

The Trust's Adrian Dunning, who says Salford planners have reservations about the busway idea, told The Journal: "This could be the biggest issue for this area since the motorway was built.

"We have no view on it - we just want to ensure everyone knows about the proposals."
