A KIND Atherton landlady, who wishes to remain anonymous, is to replace the bower of flowers stolen from St Richard's RC Church, Atherton, earlier this month.
A delighted church flowerlady, Mrs Elizabeth Schofield, said: "We are hoping to have the replacement 10ft spray of silk flowers for over the church doors ready for the next wedding ceremony on August 7.
"The landlady saw the story in The Journal. We would like to say a big thank-you for the generous offer."
