I HAVE previously had an open mind about the arrival of the "Tilted Vase" in Ramsbottom but having now seen it, I would like to make the following comments.
I think most people would agree that Market Place needed a fresh appearance. However, I would now ask a local scrap metal merchant to collect the Vase or ask the British Army if they wanted to use it for a road block!
If I were a serving member of Bury MBC it would take someone an awful long time to persuade me that the Vase was right for that location.
