I AM writing in response to Andy Waddington's letter "Free to Listen" (Citizen, July 16).
You feel free to listen to all this fourth-rated trash if you want to. There is enough of it about.
Most of today's easily-impressed younger generation wouldn't know a decent group if they fell over one.
At least the great music I listen to has stood the test of time and is original - not like today's five-second wonders who are here today, gone tomorrow.
Today's music is just empty-headed nonsense, fit for filling empty heads.
