WORLD class footballer, Prime Minister, pop star - just some of the jobs youngsters fantasise about.

But former Fulwood High School pupil Adam Fielding always knew what he wanted to do - travel the country selling herbal tea and organic flapjacks!

Entrepreneur Adam dreamed of taking his mobile takeaway around Britain visiting rock concerts and festivals.

And since he built his solar and wind-powered catering van in the drive of his parents' Fulwood home six years ago, he's never looked back.

He said: "I've always enjoyed travelling, building things and contributing towards the environment - this way I can combine them all."

Adam operates from a little wooden van which he tows round on an old furniture removal van.

"People are always turning their heads when they see me go by," said Adam: "because I can only travel at about 55 miles per hour. But that really doesn't bother me."

The 35-year-old hippy businessman started work at the Glastonbury Festival in 1992 and has been doing the music circuit ever since.

"I enjoy the music scene and the people who go there seem to like our tea and flapjacks," he said: "It's certainly a pleasant surprise how well they've sold."

His mum, Ruth, is delighted at his success in such an unusual job.

She said: "It was a bit of a shock, but he's done fantastic and I'm very proud of him."

Adam is now planning a trip to Antwerp in Belgium after being selected as one of only 10 British catering outlets to attend.
