AT last, the Rev Herrick Daniels has been recognised for all the hard work he does (LET, July 1).
St Barnabas' Church in Blackburn, which had a good base to build on, has gone from strength to strength since he came. How thrilled he must have been when he was made a canon.
His smile said it all - a ray of sunshine in a gloomy summer.
My work means I can't go to church these days. Yet, even so, he keeps in touch. What a sadder area this would be without him. Well done, Herrick!
