OUT of town cinema complexes? Around Lancaster you don't even have to leave the motorway to catch a flick.

Forton Northbound Service Station claims to be the first ever British roadside cafe to install a movie theatre.

The unique mini-movie screen will show a package of top kids' entertainment including Power Rangers Turbo - the hit TV show of the summer both on ITV and the Fox Kids TV channel, where it is screened daily.

The station, owned by Granada, will also be giving away toys including Rangers Turbo toys, activity packs and crayons to keep kids amused and harassed parents stress-free.

The mini-cinema will be open throughout the school holidays and can accommodate up a dozen children. All children will receive the Power Rangers activity pack, crayons and a Power Rangers toy absolutely free with every kid's meal and drink costing just £1.99.
