RUGBY League fans are in for a treat this weekend.
For the Blackbrook club is again staging the Alex Murphy Trophy. The opening rounds in the 13-a-side competition include:
Saturday: Portico Panthers v Haydock (1pm) and Eccles v Blackbrook (3pm).
Sunday: Thatto Heath v West Sutton (1.30) and Parr Hare and Hounds v Bold Miners (3pm).
The semi-finals take place on Saturday, August 1.
