ANY deal to bring Bruce Grobbelaar to Gigg Lane will have to wait at least until the start of the season.
Rumours that the charismatic Zimbabwean 'keeper will be arriving as Dean Kiely's understudy have been rife this week but Warnock ruled out any immediate signing.
"I'm not going to rush into anything regarding Bruce," said Warnock.
"I only asked him in for a chat this week and people have jumped to conclusions."
Forty-year-old Grobbelaar, who played under Warnock at both Plymouth Argyle and Oldham, jets off on holiday this weekend and nothing will be concluded until his return.
