AREN'T you a little sweetie - pictured sharing a bag of liquorice allsorts with Bertie Bassett is 22-month-old James Simpkins from Bispham.
Bertie joined Ribena Berries, Cadbury's Caramel bunny and Postman Pat in Red Bank Road to celebrate the start of Bispham Gala Week.
Events come to a head on Saturday (July 18) for the 103rd gala which starts off with a procession from Whiteholme playing fields at 1pm.
Carnival queen Ellie Parkinson will be crowned at 3.15pm while a fun-fair and festivities will continue throughout the afternoon.
