FIRST National Vehicle Contracts has developed a four-strong marketing team to push forward its service improvement and product and business development plans.
Headed by marketing director Mark Junner, previously with IBM, the experienced team at FNVC's Bury headquarters also includes marketing services manager John Atkinson, formerly with the Halifax; product development manager Melissa Heyes, whose background is in the financial services sector; and business improvement manager Sunil Kapur who joins from GE Capital Fleet Services.
Mr Junner said: "Our intention is to develop First National Vehicle Contracts into a top-ten contract hire and leasing company within two years. To accomplish this, we need to help grow and support one of the industry's most effective sales teams.
"This will include providing detailed analysis of our customers' current and future requirements, market segmentation, database marketing, and marketing communications, as well as the provision of a portfolio of professional sales tools.
"We will be looking at aspects of commercial quality within the business to ensure our customers benefit from high value, competitively priced products and services."
The Bury company, based in Sankey Street, is part of Abbey National plc.
