LOCAL bands are queuing up to take part in a charity night to raise money for Leukaemia Research and CHICS (a charity which provides holidays for children who are ill).
So far six local acts have signed up to take part in the event, which will be staged on Saturday, October 16, at the Sidac club, in Sutton Leach.
The club has already offered to donate the room for the night and Fatty B's disco will be providing the music - free of charge - between bands.
Organisers would like to hear from local businesses willing to support the event by donating cash or raffle prizes. For more details, contact Ray on 01704 817836.
Tickets for the show will cost £2.50 (available soon) from Ray on the above number, or the Sidac club. Alternatively you can pay on the door, price £3.
