BARONESS Castle marched through Preston and chained herself to railings before being arrested.
But the former Blackburn MP, better known as Barbara Castle, was not at all worried.
She was publicising an exhibition at the town's Harris Museum which praised local women on the anniversary of the death of Preston's leading suffragette, Edith Rigby.
