ALTHOUGH I am a Labour voter, I agree with Mrs J Lee (Letters, July 16) that since entering 10 Downing Street Tony Blair has been far too extravagant.
He has thrown lots of parties and filled 10 Downing Street with his special advisers, all on big salaries. That is why the cost of running Downing Street has risen by 20 per cent. It's no good the Government asking us all to show restraint in our pay claims if the Prime Minister is spending money like it is going out of fashion.
