BURNLEY Health Trust directors have said thank you for the work of their community services manager, Valerie Schofield, who is leaving for a new post in Blackpool.
Trust chief executive David Chew said Mrs Schofield had been with the trust for eight years and ran her service in a very efficient way
He added: "We should formerly recognise the massive contribution she has made to community service development in Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale, which has helped provide a very efficient service in this area."
Mrs Schofield takes on a new post as executive director of nursing and quality at Blackpool's Community and Priority Services Trust next month.
