WORKMATES who died within minutes of each other both suffered from chronic heart disease, a post mortem examination has revealed.
Labourer George Taylor, 45, collapsed while mixing cement outside a house in Ightenhill, Burnley, on Wednesday.
His boss Billy Heaton, 51, rushed off the roof where they had both been working and administered the kiss of life.
While he was trying to revive George, Billy, who had a triple heart by-pass six years ago, also collapsed.
A neighbour said: "He managed to bring George round but then he collapsed again and Billy also collapsed just before the paramedics arrived." Inspector Roy Butler said yesterday's post mortem examinations revealed both men were suffering from chronic heart disease and died of natural causes.
Mr Heaton was a grandfather and father of three.
He had been planning to marry his long-term partner Kathleen this year.
Mr Taylor leaves his wife Christine and seven children.
