MORE than 200 people connected with a East Lancashire village were reunited on the moors above Haslingden.
The descendants of former residents of the village of Grane, which partly disappeared when the area was flooded to create a reservoir, met up to enjoy their annual tea party and exhibition at Clough Head information centre on Saturday. The eighth annual reunion, organised by the Grane Residents Association, saw visitors from across the North West congregate to remember old times.
Old photographs and family trees from the Grane area were on display and the Haslingden and Helmshore Brass Band provided a musical accompaniment.
