ROCK in the park returns to Pendle next month.
Local band Slack Alice will headline the concert in Letcliffe Park, Barnoldswick, on August 9. Other local bands Cheatin' Hearts and Twisted Wheel will also appear.
Pendle Council entertainments manager, Gary Hood, said: "This is a real opportunity to see an array of local talent perform on one stage.
"It will also provide the public with the chance to see Slack Alice perform, free of charge, before they become the first band to appear on both main stages at this year's Great British Rhythm and Blues festival."
Last year's event saw a record 2,000 people attend and organisers are hoping to beat that total again this year.
