PRESTON's pre-season preparations produced an excellent 2-1 win over Celtic at Deepdale yesterday.
A crowd of close on 4,000 watched Preston beat a young and inexperienced Celtic side 2-1.
Mark Rankine gave North End the lead before John Paul McBride levelled only for Colin Murdoch to grab a priceless winner right on time.
Preston included former Sheffield Wednesday striker O'Neill Donaldson and could be set to offer him a short trial.
