HEART transplant patient Brian Ellis is said to be well and making satisfactory progress.
Mr Ellis, of Colne, is recovering in the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield, where doctors are happy with his progress following an operation on July 14.
Mr Ellis, who is in his early sixties, had been waiting for the operation for more than a year.
He was involved in an accident when a police car helping to take him to hospital collided with another vehicle near Skipton.
