EAST Lancashire women who boosted their confidence and business skills through an innovative training scheme have been rewarded.
The 40, from Blackburn, Burnley, Ribble Valley, Hyndburn, Pendle and Rossendale, successfully completed the Springboard programme provided by East Lancashire Training and Enterprise Council.
The three month personal development programme aims to help women working in non-managerial roles develop their confidence, make things happen and balance their work and home lives.
ELTEC lifetime training manager Janet Walker, who presented the certificates, said: "The programme has proved to be of enormous benefit - not just to the women themselves but to their companies."
