A HAPTON nursing home is appealing for goods from the 1930s, 40s or 50s to create a reminiscence room for residents.
Wordsworth House Nursing Home, Wordsworth Street, has set aside a room in the home to be converted with memorabilia which will help trigger their memories.
Angela Lord, activities organiser, said: "We have some mannequins on loan which we want to dress in period constume and are looking for items which people in the home will remember; ration books, clothing, clocks and household equipment."
Anyone who has something they could donate can contact Angela on 01282 778940.
