EAST Lancashire MP Janet Anderson has won a "glittering prize" job in charge of tourism, film and broadcasting in the government reshuffle.
And the Rossendale and Darwen MP has promised to make sure that the history and beauty of the region is properly promoted.
Mrs Anderson MP gets the job previously held by sacked minister Tom Clarke - but finds her film and tourism role beefed up with the crucial addition of broadcasting in the approaching digital age.
Hyndburn MP Greg Pope keeps his job in the Whips office - responsible for organising business and disciplining back-bench MPs.
