IN response to your article regarding the Storey Institute's Tasting Garden, I am writing to say how lovely I think the garden is. It's wonderful, not only to find a rare green space in the centre of Lancaster, but also to have some original and interesting outdoor art. While I agree that the cost does seem inordinate and that it's a shame that some of the saplings haven't survived. I think we should appreciate the creation of such a beautiful and special place in the city.
