I THINK Peter Graham (Journal Letters, July 23) must live in a nice cosy place to talk drivel like he did about the busway, saying get it built and route it through Tyldesley.
It's obvious he hasn't seen the path they want to destroy and turn into a bus route. Our countryside is fast disappearing with houses and roads being built. This pathway is lined with trees and wildlife, and many people use it to walk their dogs, as they have nowhere else to do it in Tyldesley.
Also, local children use this path to get to school. If he's so keen to have a bus route to Manchester, let them go through his crescent, see how he would like the upheaval.
We don't need a bus route to Manchester and we don't want one here.
